Hours: Full time, including necessary availability in case of emergency outside of normal working hours. We are looking to welcome a certified HVAC technician to our maintenance team, who is experienced and professional. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems at our various project sites in the Montreal metropolitan area. They will ensure the comfort and safety of our guests and employees by ensuring the optimal operation of HVAC systems. The HVAC specialist will collaborate with construction and maintenance teams to ensure the proper functioning of all HVAC equipment in our various properties. Responsibilities: Installation and Maintenance: Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various HVAC systems, including heating systems, air conditioning units, ventilation systems, and refrigeration equipment. Inspect and test HVAC systems to identify malfunctions, defects, or inefficiencies. Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal system operation, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing components. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during installation and maintenance activities. Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed. System Diagnosis and Repair: Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and control system problems related to HVAC equipment. Analyze system performance data, identify problems, and propose appropriate solutions. Repair or replace defective components, such as motors, compressors, thermostats, valves, and filters. Assist in preparing reports and documentation for inspections and audits. Qualifications: A vocational training and apprenticeship program in HVAC is required.
