Our client, located in L'Île-Perrot, is looking for a passionate service technician, capable of diagnosing, maintaining and repairing various equipment, including engines (gasoline and/or diesel), while providing exemplary customer service. The ideal candidate has solid practical experience in mechanics, particularly on engines, knows how to work independently and demonstrates rigor and professionalism in each of his interventions. He must be able to effectively manage pressure, quickly analyze situations and propose solutions adapted to the specific needs of each client. Responsibilities:
· Carry out emergency interventions, preventive maintenance, repairs, fault diagnostics and provide instructions to customers about their generators in an efficient manner.
· Test, measure and verify the operation of electrical components, including live elements and electrical fields.
· Carry out commissioning and load tests as needed.
· Handle and diagnose thermal engine generators running on diesel or natural gas.
· Ensure the maintenance and management of the company's tools and equipment, including accurate tracking of parts goods.
· Inform the supervisor about all aspects of the service performed.
· Write the required service and equipment performance reports.
· Perform all other related tasks.

Requirements:
· Experience as a field service technician for generators desired.
· DEP in electromechanics or any other equivalent training.
· Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in the maintenance, repair and diagnosis of engines (gasoline and/or diesel).
· Valid driver's license in Quebec and exemplary record.
· Advanced mastery of the English language 50% of the time to communicate with English-speaking clients.
· Must be available for service calls.

Salary: Starting at $27 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Daytime. Monday to Friday from 7am to 3:30pm
