Building Structure Engineer

Our client, a growing consulting engineering firm based in Beauce, is looking to expand its team of building structure experts. As a building structure engineer, you will participate in the design of projects in concrete, steel, and wood, in sectors as varied as commercial, industrial, and residential.

The tasks consist of:

• Participating in the drafting of technical specifications and the preparation of plans.
• Designing reinforced concrete, steel, and wood structures for various building projects.
• Ensuring site supervision to guarantee the conformity of the work carried out.
• Actively contributing to exchanges with clients, architects, and contractors.
• Staying abreast of new technologies and construction methods.
• Performing all other related tasks.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or building engineering, specialization in structures.
• Relevant experience (internships or employment) in building structure design.
• Mastery of structural calculation and drawing software (e.g. ETABS, SAFE, SAFI).
• Valid driver's license (occasional travel to construction sites).

Salary: $35 to $45 per hour depending on experience
