Security Systems Installer (CCQ Journeyman)

If you tick all these boxes, you are exactly the person our client wants on their team! You will play a key role in the installation, repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance of security systems for their diverse clientele. This is a great opportunity for a seasoned specialist!
Tasks:
- Install, program, and test access systems, home automation systems, surveillance cameras, and intercoms.
- Carry out thorough inspections and evaluations of properties to determine the best locations for security systems.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues with alarm systems.
- Repair and maintain existing systems to ensure their effectiveness.
- Provide explanations and demonstrations to customers on the functionality and maintenance of systems.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices.
- Coordinate the work of an apprentice technician.
- Perform all other related tasks.

Requirements:
- ASP health safety cards.
- CCQ competency card as a companion of trade 220 or 222.
- Card from the Bureau of Private Security (or be able to apply for it).
- Significant experience in security system installation.
- Valid driver's license.
- Knowledge of installation, programming, and troubleshooting systems.
- Experience on large construction sites.
- Mastery of reading technical manuals, plans, and diagrams.
Salary: Around $36.05 per hour according to the CCQ agreement
Schedule: Daytime, from Monday to Friday
