Our client is looking for individuals with experience in electricity who wish to evolve into an estimator role, as well as those with experience in estimation in other fields, but who have already worked in electricity. The company offers flexible hours (for example: start earlier to finish earlier, or vice versa), as well as the possibility of remote work after the training period.
The tasks consist of:
- Managing the entire estimation process (receiving documents, analyzing plans and specifications, preparing the bid, transferring the file).
- Actively searching for relevant projects to bid on.
- Collaborating with project managers for amendments and additional work.
- Analyzing actual costs compared to the initial bid at the end of projects.
- Visiting construction sites as needed, negotiating with suppliers, and estimating labor.
- Reading and interpreting plans and specifications to accurately assess costs.
- Performing all other related tasks.

Requirements:
- DEC in estimation, electricity, or a related field (desired).
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Valid driver's license.
- Excellent ability to read plans and specifications.
- Mastery of computer tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, management software).
- Good knowledge of the electrical sector.
- Bilingualism is an asset.
Salary: Between $60,000 and $100,000 per year.
Schedule: Daytime, flexible.
