Commercial Security Systems Installer (Trade 222 CCQ)

We are looking for a Commercial and Non-Residential Security Systems Installer (Trade 222 CCQ) to join our growing team in Montreal.
The selected individual will participate in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of various security systems in commercial and non-residential buildings.
Our projects include:
Access control
Surveillance cameras (CCTV)
Water detection
Integrated security systems
Related equipment

Main Responsibilities
Install and connect security systems according to plans and specifications.
Perform wiring and connections in accordance with current standards.
Use specialized tools and equipment safely.
Perform tests, commissioning, and troubleshooting of systems.
Comply with health and safety standards on construction sites.
Provide professional and courteous service to clients.
Maintain a high level of quality and respect project deadlines.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
Valid CCQ card
Valid ASP Construction card
DEP in security systems installation and maintenance, or DEP in electricity with solid knowledge in security
Valid Class 5 driver's license
Valid work permit or Canadian citizenship
Experience
Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience for a 2nd year apprentice
Relevant experience in security systems installation
Technical Skills
Good knowledge of security systems
Good mastery of work tools
Knowledge of electrical standards and safety rules
Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications, an asset

Working Conditions
Schedule
Day shift
Generally between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm
Variable schedule depending on projects and travel
Salary
2nd year apprentice: $33.47/hour
3rd year apprentice: $41.12/hour
Journeyman: $48.37/hour
