ConstruMD is a Quebec-based platform specialized in construction employment.
It helps workers find job opportunities that match their trade, level and region, while helping employers find workforce more easily for their job sites.
ConstruMD serves workers and employers in Quebec’s construction industry, including CCQ-regulated trades and workers looking for a 150-hour employment guarantee.
The platform also develops simple and accessible tools adapted to the realities of the industry, including tools designed to facilitate workforce planning and work management.
Our mission is to simplify employment, recruitment and workforce management tools in Quebec’s construction industry.
We want to help workers find the right opportunities more easily and give contractors tools that are adapted to real job-site needs, without the complexity and costs often associated with general-purpose solutions.

“It all started with a problem we were experiencing ourselves.”
I am a flooring contractor and, like many construction contractors, I have needed to find new workers quickly.
The solutions we were using were not always adapted to our reality. Some workforce lists included contact information that was no longer up to date. Some workers were simply no longer available or had left the industry a long time ago.
General recruitment platforms could also become expensive, while on Facebook it was difficult to quickly know whether a worker had the right trade, the right level or lived close enough to the job site.
Matthew and I started thinking about a much simpler way to do things: a platform specialized in construction where employers and workers could find each other using criteria that truly matter to the industry, such as trade, level and region.
That idea became ConstruMD.
ConstruMD was launched in Quebec in February 2025 by Jean-Simon Tremblay and Matthew Gervais-Boucher, cofounders of the platform.
ConstruMD now brings together a growing community of construction workers and employers across Quebec.
Workers registered on ConstruMD with a profile related to the CCQ or looking for a 150-hour employment guarantee.
Employers who have created an account on the ConstruMD platform to publish jobs, search for workers or use available tools.

Matthew brings the construction worker’s perspective to ConstruMD. Having worked in the field himself, he helps guide the platform toward simple, practical tools that are genuinely adapted to workers’ needs.
Together with Jean-Simon, he has been involved in the design and development of ConstruMD since its beginnings and now contributes to the platform’s evolution, user experience and growth within Quebec’s construction industry.
ConstruMD started with a simple goal: make it easier for construction workers and employers to find each other.
Since then, the platform has continued to evolve in order to provide tools adapted to the real needs of Quebec contractors and workers.
