Carpenter-joiner - With or without cards
Shift
EXPERIENCE BEFORE CARD LEVEL 🔨
Simco is looking for an experienced carpenter-joiner to complete its team in Rivière-du-Loup.
We care less about the level of your card than what you are really capable of doing on a construction site.
Are you an apprentice 1, but already have several years of experience in renovation or carpentry? We're interested. You don't have CCQ cards, but you know the trade very well? We also want to talk to you.
However, we prefer to be clear: we are not looking for someone to train from scratch.
We are looking for someone who:
- has concrete experience in carpentry and renovation
- is autonomous and resourceful
- masters the tools and working methods
- is able to take measurements, plan their steps and carry out their work with precision
- can progress efficiently on a mandate without needing constant supervision
- values the quality of the work delivered
Our projects are varied: renovation, reconstruction after disaster, expansion, finishing and other construction work mainly in the Rivière-du-Loup region.
What we offer:
- Full time year-round
- 4-day week (Monday to Thursday)
- Home every night
- Paid travel from the warehouse
- Company vehicle provided to get to the job sites
- Group RRSP
- Social club with team activities organized throughout the year
Compensation:
The salary will be determined based on the experience, skills and profile of the candidate. When the work is subject to the CCQ, the applicable conditions and rates are respected.**
Apprentice 1 does not necessarily mean beginner.
If your card level does not represent all that you can do, your profile might be of interest to us.
Send us your application. The process will remain confidential.
