Our client, a well-established company in the construction sector, is looking for a counter representative to join their service team. Reporting to the department manager, you will be one of the first points of contact with customers and will play a key role in the efficient management of orders and follow-up with delivery personnel.
Tasks:
- Welcome customers and advise them on products and materials.
- Receive, process, and enter orders into the system.
- Respond to requests received by phone, email, and text messages.
- Ensure communication with delivery personnel for order tracking and preparation.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure material availability and delivery.
- Provide quick, courteous, and professional service to customers.
- Perform any other task related to the smooth operation of the counter.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar position, ideally in hardware or in a construction materials business.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of project management software (Procore, an asset).
- Good knowledge of construction materials and equipment.
- Good understanding of construction processes.
- Excellent command of French, both spoken and written.
Salary: $50,000 to $70,000 per year, depending on experience (to be discussed) Schedule: Daytime, from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Status: Permanent
