Our client, a well-established company in retail sales and distribution in the construction sector, is looking for a Store Director to join their team. Reporting directly to the owner, you will be responsible for overseeing all daily store operations while ensuring a productive work environment focused on customer satisfaction.
Tasks:
- Supervise daily store operations, ensuring process efficiency.
- Manage and mentor a dynamic team, including supervisors, team leaders, and field employees.
- Ensure impeccable customer service by being the main point of contact for customers and resolving problematic situations.
- Coordinate teams to ensure smooth operations and an optimal customer experience.
- Organize and optimize inventory, maintain product availability, and manage stocks efficiently.
- Actively participate in the development and implementation of strategies to continuously improve processes.
- Regularly communicate with management and support the company's development initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, internal policies, and regulations regarding health and safety at work.
- Contribute to various committees and meetings (SST, management).
- Develop team schedules and work hours and manage emergencies outside of normal working hours.
- Perform any other task related to the smooth running of the store.

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar management role in the retail, distribution, construction sector, or in a complex operational environment.
- Manage a team with the ability to mobilize and motivate a team.
- Master the management of daily operations, stocks, and inventories.
- Excellent ability with computer tools.
- Respond to emergencies and travel as needed.
- Fluent in French, both spoken and written.
Salary: Starting at $80,000 per year, negotiable based on experience.
Schedule: Daytime.
