ACIER BATA designs, manufactures, and installs commercial and industrial steel structures. The company is currently looking for a crane operator / loading attendant for its factory located in the Terrebonne industrial park. The selected individual will primarily be responsible for loading and handling steel parts. They must also be available to act as a driver occasionally, according to the company's needs. Therefore, a valid class 1 driver's license is an asset.
Main tasks and responsibilities: Load steel parts in an orderly, efficient, and safe manner. Attach trailers according to current standards and procedures. Use rigging equipment correctly. Securely stow steel parts before transport. Operate a crane to move and handle materials. Check the load before departure to ensure it is stable, compliant, and safe. Collaborate with production, yard, and loading teams. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Respect health and safety policies and procedures at work. Occasionally make deliveries or movements with a company truck according to operational needs. Perform usual vehicle checks before departure when acting as a driver.
