QUALITY CONTROL TECHNICIAN - PREFAB MATANE

YOUR MISSION

• Perform various necessary controls on fresh and hardened concrete in the factory and laboratory;
• Perform various tests on aggregates and concrete in the laboratory, as well as those required on TBA according to BNQ requirements;
• Carry out various tests required on TBA in the laboratory according to BNQ requirements;
• Compile data and submit it to the relevant authority;
• Monitor the manufacturing of elements before and after concreting according to the quality plan;
• Participate in the implementation of the quality system in accordance with requirements as well as company policies and procedures for quality control;
• Detect non-conformities related to the product and processes and submit them to the relevant authority for processing;
• Implement proposed corrective actions until the desired quality level is achieved;
• Apply ISO, CSA and BNQ standards and participate in quality audits;
• Perform all other tasks at the request of his superior.

• Hold a college diploma (DEC) in civil engineering or in an appropriate discipline;
• Have two (2) to three (3) years of relevant experience in similar functions;
• ACI Field technician level 1 certification;
• Good computer skills (Excel and Office Suite);
• Training in reading plans (an asset);
• Knowledge of the properties and various standards related to concrete would be an asset.
