RESPONSIBILITIES
Read and interpret electrical diagrams, plans, and specifications. Install, verify, replace and connect 600V industrial electrical components according to plans and specifications (TECK cable, cable tray, EMT/PVC/RIGID conduits, 600V switches and circuit breakers, 600V transformers, main and secondary distribution panels). Maintain, repair, install and test circuit breakers, transformers and distribution panels. Maintain, repair, install and test electric motors. Execute preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records. Fill out work orders and record the material used. Bring and propose solutions when technical problems arise.

TECHNICAL SKILLS
Respect the Canadian Electrical Code (Quebec amendment) in force. Test electrical and electronic equipment and components to verify continuity, current, voltage, and resistance.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
DEP in electricity. Hold a certificate in electricity (License C) – journeyman. Have your ASP card. Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial or commercial electricity (asset). Reading of plans and specifications. Excellent analytical skills and good judgment. Ability to meet deadlines. Speed of execution.
