Electrician Profile

Your role

The main and usual role of the employee in this class of jobs is to carry out installation, repair and maintenance work on electrical systems.

Your responsibilities

• The employee in this class of jobs performs all installation, connection, troubleshooting, refurbishment, modification, repair and maintenance work on any conduction system composed of pipeline devices, accessories and other equipment for lighting, heating, motive power and any communication, switching and transmission system.
• They make electrical entries of any voltage and amperage; they mount distribution panels, lay conduits on the surface or in walls, floors and ceilings, pass wires and make the necessary connections; they proceed with the installation, maintenance and repair of various electrical equipment such as motors, transformers, switches, water heaters, heating systems, fans and air conditioners.
• They are sometimes called upon to coordinate work carried out by less experienced or non-specialized workers.
• If necessary, they perform any other related task.

Your qualifications

Possess the appropriate legal qualifications for the job class.

• Hold a journeyman electrician competency card
• Have access to a vehicle for travel and possess a valid driver's license
• Be able to use high-altitude work equipment

Your remuneration

Electrician: hourly rate of $29.70 with a 15% attraction bonus
