Job Description

Under the supervision of the foreman, Construction Talbon is looking for a carpenter to join our team for various contracts in the Rouyn-Noranda and Val-d'Or regions in Abitibi-Témiscamingue.

Main Responsibilities:

• Position conventional wooden formwork elements and prefabricated steel formwork.
• Check the alignment and stability of the formwork to adequately support the weight of the concrete.
• Control the accuracy of measurements and alignment before pouring the concrete.
• Install walkways, anchors, and ensure the area is ready to receive the concrete.
• Carry out formwork removal work, then clean and prepare the formwork for reuse.
• Install sheet metal and insulated architectural panels.
• Proceed with the installation of membranes and carry out flashing work.
• Install doors, windows, batt insulation, and rigid insulation.

Qualifications:

• Card issued by the CCQ (for contract in Quebec)

Schedule:

• Monday to Thursday, 4 days per week schedule.
• In rotation 14 consecutive days followed by 7 days off 14/7.
