We are a Quebec-based company that has been operating in the construction industry for 3 generations. We specialize in Extensions and Bi-Generational residential transformations for single-family homes. To a lesser extent, we also do multi-unit renovation.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Journeyman Carpenter/Joiner. Primarily, the candidate must have experience in new single-family residential construction or extensions, as well as general renovation.

Responsibilities:

• Erect wooden structures.
• Install doors and windows, exterior cladding, flooring, interior finishing.
• Adjust and install joinery elements such as doors, stairs, moldings, and hardware.
• Repair and renovate residential buildings. Minor and major renovations.
• All other related tasks associated with the carpenter-joiner-renovation position. Read and interpret plans and technical specifications.
• Comply with current quality (building code) and safety standards.

Requirements:

• Journeyman certification in carpentry-joinery.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a carpenter joiner in new single-family construction or extensions and general renovation.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Attention to detail and precision in task execution.

Working Conditions:

• Possibility of flexible schedule. (Ex: start at 6 a.m. and not work Friday p.m.)
• Full-time position (max 40 hours) or part-time.
• Compensation: CCQ Journeyman Salary + $3.00 / hour.
• Benefits (health insurance, dental insurance, etc.).
• Job location: Quebec and surrounding areas, south shore.
