Tasks and Responsibilities
➔ Installation of green roofs

Shoveling of soil, rocks, and gravel

Installation of membranes

Installation of corner beads (screwing, cutting)

Working in a construction environment with cranes and other heavy machinery

Installation of concrete/porcelain slabs on roofs (if holding a CCQ card)

Cutting of slabs (if holding a CCQ card)
-
Working at heights
-
Working in a construction environment with a crane and other heavy machinery
➔ Maintenance and planting as needed
➔ Material transportation
➔ Cleaning and tidying of the workshop, vehicles, and common areas
➔ Other related tasks linked to the position
**** Depending on the confirmation of the order book, all employees of La Ligne Verte may also work in another department of the company. ****
Knowledge and Skills

Experience in installing green roofs and landscaping (asset)
-
Excellent physical condition, ability to lift heavy loads, and interest in working outdoors in the sun

Professional/technical/college/university degree in the field (asset)

Reading and interpreting plans (asset)

Proper use of basic tools

ASP Card - Health and safety on construction sites or in the process of obtaining (essential), negotiation possible regarding the passage of this certification

CCQ card (an asset)

Driving license: class 5 or higher (essential)

Working Conditions

Except for exceptions, the teams of La Ligne Verte work from Monday to Friday (4-day week also achievable)

Work schedules vary by position, but are between 6am and 6pm

About 40 hours per week

Salary established according to the LLV wage chart

All Personal Protective Equipment is provided except for safety shoes and pants, (T-shirt, sweatshirt, cap, eye protection, hearing protection, respiratory protection, gloves, helmet...)
