Our client is a growing Quebec company, founded in 2022 and located in Saint-Hyacinthe. Specializing in multi-unit residential renovation work, our client stands out for its human approach, attention to detail and finish, and commitment to the quality of the work delivered.

They are currently looking for 3 Journeyman Carpenter-Joiners to join their team. You will be responsible for carrying out various construction and residential renovation works, according to quality standards while supervising one or more apprentices.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret plans, estimates, and technical specifications;
• Coordinate the progress of work to meet deadlines, budgets, and quality standards;
• Measure, cut, assemble and install wooden or composite structures;
• Carry out interior renovations (installation of doors, moldings, floors, woodwork, etc.);
• Install cabinets, countertops, storage modules or other elements of residential cabinetry.
• Manage unforeseen events on the site and propose effective solutions;
• Assess the supply needs for materials and tools necessary for the smooth running of the work and communicate them to the operations manager;
• Comply with safety standards on construction sites (CNESST, RBQ);
• Check the conformity of the work with the plans and current standards.
• Supervise apprentices or laborers as needed.

Profile sought:

• Valid journeyman carpenter-joiner card;
• Min 3 years of experience as a journeyman in the residential or multi-unit sector;
• Experience in renovation work;
• Excellent sense of planning;
• Dynamic and resourceful person
• Comfortable with technology.
