What your role will look like within our team:

• Locate, diagnose, isolate and troubleshoot faults in electrical and electronic systems
• Remove and replace defective components
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance programs while keeping maintenance records up to date
• Check, install, connect and maintain cables, conduits, controls, circuits, devices, and auxiliary accessories;
• Ensure the updating of the building's electrical plans and diagrams
• Check the compliance of electrical installations made by subcontractors
• Supervise the work of subcontractors for the maintenance of the 25 KV, electronic groups, and the building's emergency circuits
• Maintain lighting systems of institutional, commercial, and industrial buildings
• Repair and maintain motors, switching and control systems, heating devices, lighting, as well as various specialized equipment

What we are looking for in our new colleague:

• Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in construction and building electricity;
• Competency card from the Quebec Construction Commission or Emploi-Québec as a journeyman electrician (Mandatory);
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems in industrial or institutional buildings (asset);
• Be available for the 24/7 on-call list (Approximate rotation: 1 time every 5 weeks).

If, in addition, you have:

• Good knowledge of the maintenance of large capacity UPS systems
• Excellent general knowledge in electrical control related to buildings
• And mastery of reading electrical plans and generator systems
