Security System Installer

Our team is currently looking for a security system installer, who holds a CCQ competency card.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, day shift, for a total of 40 to 45 hours per week.
Job Summary
Under the supervision of the team leader, the role of the security system installation technician is to install cameras, access control equipment, or alarm components.
📍 90% of projects are located in the greater Montreal area. However, 10% of travel outside the area should be expected, including hotel and per diem.
What you will do, depending on your experience:
• Installation and connection of access control equipment (readers, locks, cards, etc.)
• Basic configuration of access control and alarm
• Installation and routing of cabling in commercial businesses, according to the established plan
• Installation and connection of cameras, alarm systems, and access control equipment
• Installation of DVR/NVR, switch, and antenna
• Network configuration and its components according to the connection plan.
• Adjustment and configuration of systems (DVR/NVR, switch, network)
• Troubleshooting equipment
• Complete installation forms and time sheets
• Participate in team meetings to optimize project delivery
• Any other related tasks
What we are looking for
• DEP in installation and repair or equivalent minimum experience
• Hold a valid class 5 driver's license, with driving record to support
• 5 years of installation experience
• Ability to work at height, efficiently and cleanly
• Autonomy and resourcefulness
• Customer service oriented, good communication and presentation
• BSP permit - an asset
• Mandatory CCQ competency card
• Certificate for bucket truck and lift platform – an asset
