Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Site Supervisor to guide our operational strategies and enhance efficiency within our organization. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a keen sense of organization. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and effective running of our business processes, thereby contributing to the overall success of the organization.
Duties
- Daily management of tenant relationships, including but not limited to: responding to tenant correspondences and phone calls, handling complaints, validating monthly rents, acting as a liaison between the Companies and the tenants of the units;
- Supervising property-related renovations, including but not limited to: assessing the scope of work in occupied units, obtaining quotes, planning and supervising contractors on site, acting as a liaison between the Companies and the contractors, providing the Companies with regular updates on the progress of the work;
- Scoping out new market opportunities, including but not limited to: researching and evaluating potential new purchases or projects, analyzing and comparing projects to determine their value and risks, researching any potential costs related to a project that could impact its profitability or risk;
- Assisting the Companies with real estate listings related to selling or renting the properties/units, including but not limited to: transcribing information on purchase, sale or brokerage offers, assisting with staging units for viewings and hiring a home staging specialist if necessary, coordinating with real estate brokers and/or potential buyers or tenants for information requests and scheduling of viewings, acting as a liaison between any real estate agency, any potential buyer or tenant and the Companies;
- Managing leases and corresponding with the property manager to ensure that units are rented and revenues are generated.
- Assisting with correspondences with the city regarding permits or development plans.
- Performing any other task related to the management of the properties owned by the Companies during the term of this agreement.
Experience
- University degree in business administration, site supervisor or in a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or similar role in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate teams and achieve results.
- Proficiency in data analysis and performance indicators; experience with relevant software tools is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a strategic approach.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Must be able to regularly commute to all properties; owning a car is a plus.
