JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Glazier Mechanic (Female Glazier Mechanic), your mission will be to assemble and install various architectural glass products on our sites in the greater Montreal area. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assembling and installing prefabricated glass elements, mirrors, and other glass products on the walls, ceilings, or facades of buildings;
• Manufacturing and installing aluminum frames for glazing;
• Preparing and installing skylights and canopies on different types of buildings;
• Installing, adjusting, and securing architectural or related metal products in commercial or industrial buildings;
• Replacing damaged glass or sealing materials;
• Reading and interpreting plans and technical specifications to determine required materials and installation methods.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Interest in glazing and teamwork;
  • Be motivated, organized, and autonomous;
  • Be meticulous and pay attention to details;
  • Comfortable working at heights and handling heavy glass;
  • Enjoy working outdoors, under any condition;
  • Good physical condition, allowing for lifting heavy loads;
  • ASP Construction card and competency cards (mandatory);
  • CCQ certification (mandatory);
  • DEP in installation and manufacturing of glass products (an asset);

Permanent position: (40 hours per week)
