Your main responsibilities:

• Read and interpret electrical diagrams, plans, and specifications;
• Install, check, replace and connect 600V industrial electrical components according to plans and specifications: (Teck Cable / Cable Tray / EMT PVC RIGID Conduit / 600V Switch and Circuit Breaker / 600V Transformer / Main and Secondary Distribution Panel)
• Maintain, repair, install and test circuit breakers, transformers and distribution panels;
• Maintain, repair, install and test electric motors;
• Execute preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records;
• Fill out work orders and record the materials used for the work;
• Bring and propose solutions when technical problems arise;

Technical skills:

• Respect the Canadian Electrical Code, current Quebec modification.

Required qualifications:

• Vocational diploma in electricity;
• 3 years of experience in industrial or commercial electricity (Asset);
• Reading of plans and specifications;
• Excellent analytical skills and good judgment;
• Ability to meet deadlines;
• Speed of execution.
