Tasks
• Direct and train workers to install, maintain, repair cables, equipment, and electrical devices
Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic cables, equipment, appliances, fixtures, and accessories, using hand tools and power tools;
Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components;
Diagnose malfunctions of systems, appliances, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to find the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem;
Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes;
Maintain an electrician's license or any other document card meeting government regulations;
Plan the layout and installation of wiring, equipment, and electrical appliances, based on specifications and local codes;
Repair or replace wiring, equipment, and appliances, using hand tools and power tools;
Test the continuity(s) of circuits in wiring, equipment, and electrical appliances using devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, oscilloscopes;
Use a variety of tools and equipment such as construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and test equipment, including oscilloscopes, ammeters, and test lamps.

Training in a specialized school;
Certificate of qualification (license "C")
Ability to determine the causes of operating errors and determine how to fix them and repair machines or systems using the necessary tools.
