Your role

As a Senior Technician, you will act as an internal technical reference and contribute to optimizing the company's technical operations.

This is primarily an office position, with a strategic role in support and expertise.

Main Responsibilities

Advanced Technical Support

• Act as an internal technical expert for the team

• Diagnose complex failures

• Provide advanced technical solutions to existing installations

• Optimize the performance of security systems

Security Systems Expertise

• Technical support for:

  • Intrusion alarm systems

  • Access control

  • Video surveillance (CCTV, IP, NVR/DVR)

  • Intercoms and secure communication systems

Compliance and Standards

• Ensure compliance with standards and norms:

  • CAN/ULC

  • Building codes

  • Applicable electrical standards

• Consider cybersecurity protocols related to equipment

Team Support

• Contribute to the technical development of the team

• Share knowledge and support technicians

• Participate in improving technical methods and processes

Desired Profile

Required Qualifications

• CCQ card

• ASP Construction card

• Valid driver's license

• No criminal record

• Minimum 5 years of experience in electronic security

Technical Skills

Experience with:

• Intrusion alarm systems

• Access control

• CCTV / IP surveillance cameras

• NVR / DVR recorders

• Intercoms and secure communication systems

• Diagnosis of complex failures

• Analysis and optimization of security systems

Assets

• Knowledge of CAN/ULC standards

• Knowledge of building codes and electrical standards

• Understanding of cybersecurity issues related to connected equipment
