Roofing Foreman - Flat Roofs
Location: Office in Saint-Romuald (Sites: Lévis / Québec / Chaudière-Appalaches)
Schedule: Monday to Thursday (9 h/day), short Friday early termination (8 h/day)
Field: Commercial, Institutional & Industrial (Membranes)
Experience: CCQ Journeyman (5 years+) | No experience as a foreman required (training provided, we are looking for leadership and ambition!)

Your role and daily challenges
As a Foreman, you will lead by example on the site. You will work on tools with your team while ensuring the daily management and coordination of work:
- Site management and leadership: Supervise and coach variable teams (2 to 6 people: apprentices and journeymen).
- Planning and follow-up: Plan daily work to meet deadlines and tendered times.
- Quality and safety: Ensure impeccable execution of work according to flat roof composition plans and specifications.
- Coordination: Act as a point of contact on the site with the general contractor with confidence and diplomacy.
- Simple field follow-up: Take photos of the progress of the work (uploaded to OneDrive) and note the team's hours.
- Logistics: Use the company's cube truck to get to the sites and stop by the Saint-Romuald office 1 to 2 times a week for supplies.
What we are looking for
- Mandatory certification: Up-to-date CCQ Journeyman Roofer card.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in membrane roofing / flat roofs.
- Natural leadership: A profile focused on mentoring and example, able to rally the guys, establish a climate of trust and make the team perform.
- Stress management and assurance: Able to handle the pressure from general contractors on the site without passing it on to his team and knowing when to put his foot down.
