Solar Energy System Installer

Great, Alt-Energy is looking for installers to join its installation team.

Tasks and responsibilities:

· Install supports and solar panels according to the planned location: flat roof, sloping roof, ground support, etc.

· Carry out roofing and waterproofing work, if necessary

· Read and interpret installation and structure plans

· Collaborate with electricians and other professionals involved in the project

Starting from our offices in Alma, our installers travel all over Quebec to install the systems designed by our technical team.

No need to be an expert, we train you on the job.

Profile sought:

· Comfortable with heights

· Good judgment, autonomy, and professionalism

· Good time and priority management

· Strong adaptability and openness to training and learning

· Team spirit and ease in establishing collaborative relationships

· Attention to detail and organization

Qualifications and experience:

· Up-to-date CCQ competency cards (required)

· Class 5 license (required)

· Ability for physical work (must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs)

· ASP construction cards (an asset)

· Vocational or technical training in a relevant field (an asset)

· Interest in alternative energies

· A mix of relevant experience and training may be considered
