Desjardins and St-Denis is looking for carpenters / joiners to join its team.

We mainly operate in the field of commercial, institutional, and residential construction, with sites located in several regions, including the Laurentians, the North Shore, and the South Shore.

Main Tasks

The candidate will have to perform various tasks related to construction and the building envelope, according to the needs of the sites:

• General carpentry-joinery work;
• Installation of exterior cladding;
• Installation of insulation, membranes, and building envelope components;
• Installation of furring strips, moldings, flashings, and other related elements;
• Reading plans and executing work according to directives;
• Handling and preparation of materials;
• Compliance with health and safety standards on sites.

Profile Sought

We are looking for a person who is:

• Reliable, punctual, and motivated;
• Enjoys teamwork;
• Has good adaptability;
• Is autonomous on a site;
• Cares about doing a good job.

Requirements

• Valid CCQ card;
• Valid ASP construction card;
• Experience in construction, an asset;
• Valid driver's license, an asset;
• Ability to travel to different sites in the Laurentians, the North Shore, and the South Shore.
