We are looking for a motivated foreman/woman, ready to lead teams on the field effectively. As a key person on the site, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating work, supporting team members, and ensuring the quality of the work done.
What you will do on a daily basis:
- Lead team members in planning and carrying out carpentry and joinery tasks, promoting good collaboration and smooth progress of work;
- Support and guide teams on the field while encouraging a positive and productive environment;
- Guarantee the quality of the work done, respecting the plans, specifications, and Modulor standards;
- Actively participate in carpentry and joinery work, using your technical expertise;
- Facilitate smooth communication between the team, subcontractors, and project managers;
- Enforce safety standards and promote good practices on the site.
What we are looking for:
- Significant experience as a team leader or similar role in construction;
- Journeyman with expertise in carpentry and joinery;
- Valid CCQ competency card;
- Valid driver's license;
- Experience in residential renovation and/or new high-end construction;
- Natural leadership and ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve goals;
- Excellent communication and organization skills;
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
