Our client is a major player in the agri-food sector, recognized for the quality of its production facilities and its commitment to continuous improvement. The company operates in a manufacturing environment where action, operational rigor, and collaboration are essential. Its technical team plays a key role in the plant's performance, and several modernizations are underway to optimize operations.

We are looking for an experienced plumber/pipefitter wishing to join a strong and committed maintenance team. Under the supervision of the maintenance supervisor, the person will play an essential role in ensuring the proper functioning of the equipment, carrying out installations, repairs, preventive maintenance, and technical interventions on sanitary and pressure systems.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure troubleshooting and maintenance on production equipment.

  • Carry out the repair, installation, and reconditioning of various components (Tuchenhagen valves, Bray, APV, Fisher, micromates, hoses, etc.).

  • Carry out improvement, repair, and preventive maintenance work.

  • Contribute to the prioritization and planning of interventions.

  • Write intervention reports and use internal computer tools (Microsoft Office, SAP).

  • Install and maintain different networks: steam, CO₂, compressed air.

  • Perform stainless/sanitary welding in accordance with CFIA standards.

  • Collaborate closely with the maintenance team and the department supervisor.

Desired Profile

  • Completed DEP in plumbing.

  • Plumbing qualification certificate from Quebec.

  • Journeyman pipefitter competency card (or in the process of obtaining).

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an industrial environment (food: major asset).

  • Strong skills in stainless / sanitary welding.

  • Knowledge of pressure networks (steam, pneumatic) — important assets.

  • Excellent knowledge and respect for lockout procedures.

  • Ability to work on all shifts (day, evening, night, weekend according to seniority).

  • Excellent analytical skills, autonomy, sense of priorities, and speed of execution.

  • Comfortable in an active operational environment, with varied interventions.
