The Company

Construction Renovation RB is a team of about ten employees who build and renovate all over the South Shore of Quebec - Lévis, Saint-Lambert-de-Lauzon, Beaumont, Saint-Michel and Bellechasse. We're growing fast, and we're looking for solid companions to grow with us.

Two teams, two areas of expertise:

• New construction: a team of 5 to 6 employees who build multi-unit buildings of 6, 8 and 12 units.

• Renovation: a team that takes on complete residential renovations, expansions and all kinds of projects, from A to Z.

Demand is booming, especially for expansions. We want to rely less on subcontracting and more on our own people. In concrete terms: we're hiring 1 to 2 excellent companions right now, with the goal of adding 4 more people to the team in the coming months.

What you will do

• Take charge of your own project, from start to finish.

• Lead a small team - usually 1 or 2 employees or apprentices.

• Organize the work your way and guarantee flawless execution.

• Rely on coaching when you need it, without being handheld.

• Get involved in everything: structure, finishing, everything related to renovation from A to Z.

The profile we're looking for

A jack-of-all-trades carpenter-joiner companion, capable of leading a complete renovation with eyes closed. You've already got your hands dirty in several aspects of residential construction, including:

• Structure

• Excavation

• Foundation

• Insulation

• Exterior cladding

• Drywall installation

• Stairs

• Interior finishing

• Complete renovation from A to Z

A background in residential renovation is a clear advantage - we're looking for someone who knows this world, not just the commercial side.

Your experience

• 3 to 4 years minimum in residential construction or renovation.

Your personality

• Versatile - nothing scares you on a construction site

• Resourceful - you find solutions, not excuses

• Autonomous - we don't need to watch over you

• Responsible and reliable

• A true leader for your team

• Motivated, with a good attitude

• Comfortable working in a team

What we offer

Schedule

• 40 hours per week

• Generally from 7 h to 15 h 15 - your evenings are your own

• Possibility to do your 40 hours over 4 days, depending on the needs of the site
