Company We are a Quebec-based company that has been operating in the construction industry for 3 generations. We specialize in Extensions and Bi-Generational residential transformations for single-family homes. To a lesser extent, we also do multi-unit renovation. Job Description We are looking for an experienced Journeyman Carpenter/Joiner. Primarily, the candidate must have experience in new single-family residential construction or extensions, as well as general renovation. Responsibilities: Erect wooden structures. Install doors and windows, exterior cladding, flooring, interior finishing. Adjust and install joinery elements such as doors, stairs, moldings, and hardware. Repair and renovate residential buildings. Minor and major renovations. All other related tasks associated with the carpenter-joiner-renovation position. Read and interpret plans and technical specifications. Comply with current quality (building code) and safety standards. Requirements: Journeyman certification in carpentry-joinery. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a carpenter joiner in new single-family construction or extensions and general renovation. Good communication skills and ability to work in a team. Attention to detail and precision in task execution. Working Conditions: Possibility of flexible schedule. (Ex: start at 6 a.m. and not work Friday p.m.) Full-time position (max 40 hours) or part-time. Compensation: CCQ Journeyman Salary + $3.00 / hour. Benefits (health insurance, dental insurance, etc.).
